Who we are

QUICKREPAIR APPLIANCES LTD (company no. 17416767, registered in England and Wales), trading as Quick Repair, is the controller of the personal information described here. What we collect

  • your name, phone number and postcode;
  • your address, so our engineer can visit;
  • details of your appliance and the fault;
  • payment records for the work carried out.

You give us this information when you call us, message us on WhatsApp or email us. This website has no forms and does not collect any personal information itself.

Why we use it

  • to arrange and carry out your repair (performance of a contract);
  • to contact you about your booking, parts and return visits (performance of a contract);
  • to keep financial records we are required to keep by law (legal obligation).

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for marketing.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with services we use to run the business (our messaging, email and payment providers) and with parts suppliers where a part has to be ordered for your appliance. WhatsApp messages are also processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep booking details for as long as needed to provide the service and deal with any follow-up, and financial records for as long as UK tax law requires (currently six years).

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs to keep the site secure and running.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
